GGGI Africa Side Event: International Circular Economy Forum in Abidjan

The GGGI Country Office in Côte d’Ivoire will be hosting a side event at the International Circular Economy Forum being held in Abidjan (October 15 – 18, 2024). The theme of GGGI’s involvement in the Eco Cir Forum will be “Circular Economy: a lever for accelerating inclusive and sustainable green growth in Côte d’Ivoire in a context of rapid urbanization and uncertainty”.

GGGI’s EcoCir 2024 Forum Side Event will share knowledge on the contribution of the circular economy to inclusive and sustainable green growth in African countries in general and in Côte d’Ivoire in particular. The session will cover:

1. Information on GGGI projects and activities in the field of circular economy and green entrepreneurship in Africa and Côte d’Ivoire;
2. The best technologies for reducing methane through the circular economy;
3. The potential of climate finance and the creation of decent green jobs in the circular economy sector;
4. The indicators and factors of inclusive green growth in a context of uncertainty.
