This session will feature four presentations focusing on Africa’s green growth performance, including comparisons with global standards, challenges and opportunities for transitioning to green growth in African Least Developed Countries (LDCs), gender responsiveness in African subregions, and progress towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Togo and Angola. Presenters will share green growth performance scores, collaboration insights, and lessons from various Green Growth Index projects in Africa. Following the presentations, a panel of experts from international organizations and GGGI government partners will discuss gender responsiveness challenges and initiatives supporting Africa’s green and inclusive growth transition.
