This session will focus on the activities of the Greening the Pacific Financial Systems program, which is a novel regional cooperation and nationally tailored program to address Pacific financial vulnerability to climate shocks, while at the same time fostering opportunities to mobilize capital markets to meet the financing needs of climate change. Economic vulnerability brought about by climate shocks can leave financial systems in a state of uncertainty and instability.
This presentation will cover solutions that look to strengthen resilience to climate shocks in Pacific financial systems and improve the availability of inclusive green finance instruments.
