Water is crucial for economic growth, meeting Paris commitments, and achieving SDGs. A project will be presented that assesses water-related risks at the macro-economic level, examining financial system vulnerabilities to climate and nature risks. The aim is to understand recent developments, uncertainties, and best practices. Additionally, the session will explore water-saving technologies and renewable energy solutions in disaster-prone Mongolia, with case studies illustrating successful implementations of rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling, and solar and wind power initiatives.
