Collaborative efforts among Asian nations are vital, fostering partnerships to develop and share clean energy solutions, innovative carbon capture technologies, and sustainable practices. Moreover, investing in nature-based solutions, reforestation, and sustainable land-use practices can aid in carbon sequestration, further contributing to emissions mitigation efforts.
GGGI experience shows that women can bring forth a multitude of innovative solutions to tackle green growth challenges by leveraging their unique perspectives, skills, and experiences. From leading the global diplomatic sphere for transformative multinational solutions to nature-based adaptation solutions and driving renewable energy entrepreneurship on the ground, women play pivotal roles in leading the world toward a greener future.
This session aims to shed a spotlight on Asia’s ongoing work on green investments and sustainable finance, featuring women leaders in the field.
