Youth for Climate Action
Date: Oct 26,2023
Time: 14:00 to 16:00 (KST/GMT+9)
Ongoing shifts to greener economies can only be sustainable if the three forms of capital are considered – economic, social, and environment. However, failure to consider all three could create unexpected challenges for already disadvantaged groups including young people. This session will consider the intersection of skills-education-youth-and climate action along the transition to just and low-carbon societies. Not only in the context of educating students and educators about the importance of addressing and preparing for climate change effects. It will also include best practices that centralize skills and education for ensuring climate resilience of young people and their full and meaningful participation as entrepreneurs, employees, and leaders in the ever-changing climate discourse.
