Circular Economy and Waste Management: Unlocking the Potential for Green Job Creation

The world has now entered a new era grounded upon the realities of a pandemic and compelling evidence that human-induced actions are causing some of the climatic impacts we are experiencing. The successful pursuit of green growth would require changes in our production and consumption patterns of which a circular economic approach will contribute a great deal to this change. This session invites some of the foremost practitioners and actors within and outside the public sector to provide insights, innovative ideas, and illuminating examples that explore new avenues for unlocking the potential for green job creation through a circular economy.
