In an era where youth are dubbed disruptors, their contribution to innovative and sustainable solutions to Green Growth and Climate Resilience is translating into creation of employment opportunities.

Moreover, with economies greatly impacted by the COVID 19 Pandemic, many countries are embracing innovative and inclusive green economic recovery plans that prioritize youth involvement in achieving the desired green economy transition. It is, therefore, critical to explore how the youth can contribute to a climate responsive and inclusive green recovery that accelerates creation of green jobs. This session introduced innovative initiatives that will trigger discussions around the fundamental elements of youth employability, opportunities, and entrepreneurship as well as the role of governments and research institutions in catalyzing green job creation and green economic recovery.
